Into the Wilderness was a success, especially for the Federal cavalry!

The Federal cavalry detachment was made up of 11 members of the 1st Maine and 1st Massachusetts cavalry organizations.
Commanded by Lt Gerald Todd, 1st ME Cav, and Orderly Sgt Thomas Craig, 1st MA Cav.
