| My first BIG telescope. Purchased from Coulter back in 1992, it's been a great scope with it's only downfall being it's weight and size.
It's just a beast of a thing to move around. I planned to rebuild it with a truss-tube on a split ring mount and was looking around the net
for parts and ideas when I found the Meade LX200 on ebay and plans changed. I did get a helical focuser and a finder for it and need to mount
those and some counter balancing on it.
